LOW GI CHOC OAT SLICE

Ingredients - Base Layer:
- 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup almond flour or meal
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- Pinch salt
- 1 cup Vitawerx Milk Chocolate - melted
- 1/4 coconut milk
Directions:
- Combine all the ingredients for the base layer in a food processor and pulse for a few seconds until mixture is combined but still course and textured. Set 1/4 cup aside for the topping
- Pour the remaining mixture into a loaf pan and press firmly. Freeze for 15 minutes
- Combine the melted choc and coconut milk together. Pour over top the base layer, top with remaining 1/4 cup of oat mixture and freeze for 30 minutes
- Cut into squares and enjoy 😊
