CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BROWNIES
INGREDIENTS
Base
- 100g Almond Meal
- 50g melted butter
- 3 Tbls Sweetener
- 30g cocoa
Microwave Caramel (by @Lauralovesketo):
- 120g butter
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/3 cup Sweetener
- 1/4 tsp molasses
White Chocolate Topping:
- 100g Vitawerx White Chocolate
- 1/2 tsp water
- 10g butter
METHOD
- Preheat your oven to 180
- Mix together base ingredients and spead out into a 8″ tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes and set aside to cool.
- To make caramel, combine ingredients in a large microwave safe bowl and cook for about 8 minutes, whisking thoroughly at each minute. Stop when the caramel is dark and thick.
- Carefully pour the caramel over the chocolate base and allow to set at room temperature.
- Once cool, cool thoroughly in the fridge.
- For the chocolate topping, melt together white chocolate, water and butter and stir until a smooth melted consistency.
- Pour over the top of the caramel and allow to set.
- Don’t eat them all!
